Former head of motorsport was giving evidence to a Tynwald committee
The former head of motorsport in the Isle of Man says there is a widespread misconception about the TT.
Trevor Hussey made the comments while giving evidence to the Tynwald committee investigating the TT promoter deal.
He told the committee that, in his opinion, the idea the event belonged to 'the people' was nonsense, saying if it belonged to anyone it was Manx taxpayers and the commercial partners who put money into it:
