Advice to monitor fluids intake
Divers tempted to explore the Island's seas are being urged to avoid dehydration during warm weather expeditions.
The advice comes from experts at the hyperbaric chamber, who have treated two divers with decompression sickness in the past fortnight.
The condition can be fatal - and swift emergency treatment at the chamber has been key in both divers' recovery.
Chamber chief medic David Downie says with dehydration appears to have triggered or worsened onset of the bends in the latest case.
He says divers should drink plenty of fluid in warm weather:
