Youth Select Committee questions where housing lies in 2024 Budget
Government has been challenged on what it's doing to enable young people on the Isle of Man to get onto the property ladder:

As part of this year's budget one million pounds has been allocated to the Housing and Communities Board which is working to ensure that private and public sector housing on the Island is accessible, secure and affordable.
When it comes to new developments, Treasury Minister Alex Allinson was asked who defines 'affordable housing' and if someone like Alex will ever be able to afford their own home:
