Manx Radio comedy up against BBC, Absolute Radio and Sony Music
Manx Radio has been nominated for an award at The Radio Academy ARIAS 2024.
The annual Audio and Radio Industry Awards celebrate ‘outstanding shows and the creative teams behind them’.
IM1: A NEW HOPE – LIVE! will go up against eight other programmes – made by BBC Studios, Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 4 and Sony Music - in The Comedy Award category.
The satirical comedy produced by Howard Caine looks behind the scenes of Manx Radio and was performed to a live audience at the Peel Centenary Centre last year.

The Radio Academy ARIAS will take place on 7 May at Theatre Royal on Drury Lane in London and will be hosted by Alice Levine and Romesh Ranganathan.
