Colby Glen has been shut since 8 January
Treasury has confirmed its immigration team is carrying out an investigation following the closure of a pub in the south of the Island.
The Colby Glen announced that it was shutting for a short break on 8 January.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover contacted Treasury after concerns were raised, and shared the response on social media.
It confirms the Immigration Compliance Team is conducting an investigation, but that as this is an ongoing operational matter it would not be appropriate to provide specific details at this stage.
The property is owned by Okell's and operated by tenants Kurries and Steaks.
Okell's confirmed it would share details on the venue reopening as soon as it can, while Kurries and Steaks did not respond to a request for comment.
