Cabinet Office member says government and captains of parish have a role to play in organising meetings
It's important all voters have an opportunity to hear from their election candidates before going to the polls this September.
That's from a political member for the Cabinet Office after changes were made to how pre-election meetings are organised ahead of this year's vote.
The captains of the parish will still be able to arrange requisition meetings in their areas, while one government-run meeting will be held in each constituency.
Diane Kelsey MLC says events organised locally as well as by the cabinet play an important role:
DHSC looking to 'map clear way forward' over bed shortages
First Deemster and Clerk of Rolls appointed to senior roles
Mother's Day recognition for women who ‘shape our community’
New clerk for Arbory and Rushen Commissioners
