Residents becoming 'repeat victims' of 'small group of youths'
Police say the lighter nights over recent days have led to an increase in anti-social behaviour in Onchan.
The Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team says its been receiving daily reports from residents who are 'repeat victims' of the actions of a 'small group of youths' of primary and secondary school age causing 'significant distress'.
That includes the kicking of doors and 'general anti-social behaviour'.
Police officers will be deployed to Onchan when available to do so, saying those identified committing offences will be dealt with accordingly.
Parents will also be asked to attend the police station to accompany their children.
