Injured TT rider flown to Liverpool for leg surgery

The motorcycling website an injured TT competitor writes for has provided an update on his condition.

Mike Booth was airlifted to Noble's Hospital after an incident at Joey's on the final night of practice week.

44teeth.com says he's since been flown to Liverpool for surgery on both of his legs, but is in good spirits.

Booth had been writing a daily blog about his TT experiences for the site, which has thanked its readers for well wishes and messages.
