Sentence due next month
An inmate at the Isle of Man Prison has admitted assaulting a prison guard.
Thirty-three-year-old Donovan Wesley Kitching will be sentenced next month, once a social enquiry report has been prepared.
He punched the guard on the side of the head, following a tussle with four of them as they tried to escort him to the prison's segregation unit.
The guard ended up with a grazed temple.
The incident happened on 10 March.
He's due to be sentenced on 26 July.
