The inquiry into the death of 38-year-old Lisa Jane Jenkins, who lived in Farmhill Park, was opened and adjourned at Douglas courthouse today.
It heard the injuries suffered by the self-employed creative artist were consistent with a fall from a great height.
Her body was discovered on Friday, 8 June, although it's believed she could have died up to a couple of days before that.
The inquest has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.
