Retired bus driver was 58
Tribute is being paid to a 58 year-old retired bus driver who hanged himself.
The body of Philip Alan Caley from Smeale was found by his brother earlier this month at West Keilthustag Farm in Andreas.
His inquest opened at Douglas Courthouse this morning (Thursday) and heard Mr Caley died from asphyxia caused by hanging.
He then suffered a cardiac arrest.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham offered his condolences to the family of Mr Caley and adjourned the hearing so funeral arrangements could be made.
