Investigations are continuing into his death
An inquest has been opened at Douglas Courthouse following the death of a 12-year-old boy.
Ethan Andrew Cloete died at Noble's Hospital on 16 September 2026.
The Year 8 Ballakermeen student, of Strang, passed away in the Intensive Care Unit after being found at home.
Coroner of Inquests James Brooks extended his condolences to Ethan's friends and family.
He said that investigations are ongoing into the death and adjourned the inquest to date to be set.
