Liam Clarke and Alan Connor died during practice session
The inquests into the deaths of two people who died at the Southern 100 will be opened today (21 July).
Marshal William (Liam) Clarke, who was 66 and from Wigan, and racer Alan Connor – who was 50 and from Ireland – were killed last Tuesday (11 July).
Both had been taking part in a practice session on the Billown Circuit before the incident on the Castletown Bypass.
The coroner of inquests will open and adjourn proceedings at Douglas Courthouse at 9.30am.
