
An Island mother has been short-listed for a UK-wide award to mark her work supporting bereaved parents.
Victoria Kissack, from Ballasalla, co-founded Tabitha's Trust after her baby girl died at just four hours old from a rare congenital condition.
The charity offers practical help and moral support to Manx families who have suffered the agony of losing a child.
Victoria, who's since had another child, has now been nominated in the Inspirational Mothers category of the Butterfly Awards.
She says her family's heart-breaking experience inspired her to help others.
But news she was being considered for an award came as a complete surprise:
