Aidan Baglow to replace Jo Cox
Islands Energy Group has confirmed it has a new interim CEO.
The company today announced Jo Cox will be leaving her post as the CEO to 'pursue a new opportunity as CEO of a company within a different industry sector'.
She's been there since 2021.
Aidan Baglow, previously Managing Director of Manx Gas before it rebranded to Isle of Man Energy, part of the Islands Energy Group, has taken over as Interim Group CEO with immediate effect.
In a statement, the company says: "He is a highly experienced gas industry professional having worked in gas operations, project management and technical lead roles for more than 36 years.
"He joined Isle of Man Energy in 2008 and is based in the Isle of Man."
Mr Baglow commented: "Jo joined IEG in 2021 and has successfully managed the Group through one of the most turbulent times in its history.
"We wish her well in her new venture."
