The Island’s participation in the International Festival for Business has been described as 'highly successful', by the economic development minister.
Throughout the six-week event in Liverpool, over fifty businesses and professional associations from the Island took part at one time or another.
The aim was to sell the Island as an international business centre, and to build political and civic ties with the North West.
Looking back at the event, Minister for Economic Development, Laurence Skelly, says we need to concentrate on all our “near neighbours”, not purely the North West of England:
