Former HSCC chair says minister was 'rude and aggressive', but Hooper says claims are 'entirely unfounded'
Investigations are ongoing after a regulatory body accused the health minister of breaching the ministerial code.
The former chairman of the Health Services Consultative Committee alleges Lawrie Hooper subjected the panel to an hour-long rant over its annual report.
He says the minister's behaviour wasn't acceptable:
Mr Hooper says the claims are "entirely unfounded", and that the committee has been unprofessional in its handling of his concerns over the accuracy of the report.
The Ramsey MHK previously said the report contains errors.
He believes the complaints are motivated by a personal disagreement, rather than a policy one:
Relatives seeking clarity over potential plans to relocate dementia patients
MHK calls for action over 'atrocious' road signage
Cruise passengers affected by downed railway lines
