Tribute to Mark Moroney
It’s been confirmed human remains found in the US Virgin Islands are that of retired Isle of Man advocate Mark Moroney.
The 70-year-old went missing from his Caribbean home on 18 February during a widespread water and power outage.
He had left his residence saying he was going to get a torch.
Investigators have ruled out foul play and revealed the body was found in a heavily wooded area embedded with a thorn bush.
Mr Moroney, who had a distinguished law career here and founded the law firm Moroney's, was reported missing by his wife, Susan.
