IoM Hospice night walkers still sought

There's still time to register for one of the autumn's most popular outdoor charity events.

For the fifth year, Isle of Man Hospice is holding a sponsored midnight walk.

It's taking place this Saturday.

Although online entries are now closed, those who want to join the parade of pink can still register in person.

There'll be a party atmosphere as walkers gather for the start, at the PokerStars building on Onchan Head, at 10.30pm.

Fundraisers, who pay £16 to take part, walk in groups along Douglas promenade and Peel Road to Ballafletcher sports ground, where they're met with a glass of pink fizz and a cup cake.

Fundraising and PR Manager for Hospice, Mary Doyle, says this year all those taking part will be issued with an official wristband to mark the event, which must be worn on the night:
