Manx delegate promotes marine conservation
The Isle of Man showcased its work on marine conservation at an international environment conference earlier last week.
The UNESCO event in Menorca was the eighth meeting of 'The World Network of Island and Coastal Biospheres'.
Represented by its Senior Marine Environment Officer, Dr Peter Duncan exhibited the Island's continued efforts to sustain its waters and coastal regions.
50 delegates from other Biosphere reserves were in attendance, as hosts Menorca celebrated it's 25th year with UNESCO accredited status.
Given the similarities in both size and population, Dr Duncan said sharing experiences and challenges will be of benefit:
