
It seems the Island managed to avoid flooding around coastal harbours last night.
Throughout yesterday (Wed) there had been concern and warnings that high tides and low pressure might see overtopping in some areas . . and water lapping into the streets of Douglas, Castletown and Ramsey.
It was stressed, however,that it wouldn't be anything like the severe floods the Island suffered at the beginning of the year.
Jason Roberts was in Douglas as the water hit its highest mark to see if there were any problems for the capital
There have been no serious problems reported so far this morning (Thurs) in Castletown or Ramsey.
