Donations meeting demand, says site manager
The growing problem of many UK foodbanks running out of supplies is not being replicated here.
That's the reassuring message from manager of the Isle of Man Foodbank, Neal Mellon.
He says donations from local businesses and individuals has continued to meet demand, which shows no sign of abating.
Mr Mellon says the recent warning from the Chief Minister that people should brace themselves for a significant rise in the price of electricity at the end of March, when the current government price-cap ends, is worrying:
