Celtic League says resignations "blow to democracy"
The Island is in electoral chaos after three local authority members had to step down - that's according to the Celtic League.
John Joughin, Geoff Quayle and Wilf Young have all been forced out of office because they were no longer on the electoral roll.
By-elections may now have to be held to replace them - with terms which will only run until April.
Director of Information Bernard Moffatt says it's another blow to democracy on the Isle of Man:
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
Temporary lights installed on Douglas promenade
