Manx Utilities chairman acknowledges climate change threat
Ramsey MHK and Manx Utilities chairman, Dr Alex Allinson says the Island needs to be planning now for a greener future.
The world scientific authority has branded the Climate Change issue as a threat to mankind, and warned that if policymakers and governments do not act to keep global temperatures below a 1.5 degree rise, then our way of life as we know it will be forever altered.
Dr Allinson believes the Island can't afford to be complacent:
