Zero Waste Mann believes IOM could be much greener
The Isle of Man is trailing behind the rest of the British Isles in its environmental strategy.
That's the view of a local ecological activist.
Muriel Garland is the chair of Zero Waste Mann, an Island-wide initiative which aims to spread awareness of waste reduction and resource management.
She believes the Island's independent status should actively encourage the early adoption of more green legislation
