2024 ROLL Models Leadership Camp took place this summer
A Manx skateboarder who represented the Island at an event in Paris this summer has described the experience as 'life-changing'.
During the last week of August Skateistan and Women Win hosted the 2024 ROLL Models Leadership Camp in Paris.
Ali Mellor, from Gal Skate, was in attendance along with 20 other women, and non-binary social skateboarding leaders, from 10 countries across Europe.
The camp aims to create a safe space for skaters to share their stories, make connections, acquire new knowledge and boost their confidence.
It's part of an initiative from the Goodpush Alliance which aims to support and share knowledge among social skateboarding projects worldwide.
