
Students are continuing to demonstrate outside Tynwald this afternoon as they await the outcome of a vital vote on education.
Education Minister Tim Crookall wants to make students contribute at least £2,500 towards their tuition fees for higher education through a loan system that’ll be debated by the court this evening.
But the proposals have sparked a campaign by the Island’s teenagers, who say the idea will damage education and the economy.
