Island takes part in global protests against climate change

Demonstrations outside Tynwald from 12.30pm

A week of environmental action on the Island gets underway today.

Organised by the Climate Change Coalition and Student Climate Network, it's part of a global awareness campaign running until next Sunday (29 September).

The first in a series of events is being held this afternoon, as students strike in Douglas once again.

The demonstrations will be held outside Tynwald, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

But if people haven't been convinced about climate change by now, are they ever going to be?
