Yellow weather warning is now in force
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has just come into force across the Island (12pm Sunday 8 February).
Totals of between 5-20mm are expected, and forecasters are warning that combined with the already saturated ground, this will give a risk of localised flooding in a few places.
The alert is in place until 6am tomorrow (Monday 9 February).
