Island's first rapid EV charger being installed

Once operational, the site will retain its existing charger, increasing overall capacity to four charging bays

The Isle of Man's first ultra-rapid public electric vehicle charger is being installed at the Sea Terminal.

The new charger is capable of delivering up to 160kW to a single vehicle and forms part of Manx Utilities' ongoing investment in the Island's public EV charging network.

Once operational, the site will retain its existing charger, increasing overall capacity to four charging bays.

Demand for public charging continues to grow, with 476 charging sessions recorded across Manx Utilities' public charging network over the past week.
