Red tape forces Andreas based business to stop
The Island's longest established producer of free-range eggs is to cease trading after 27 years.
Andreas based Faragher's Free Range Eggs will close when the current flock stops laying.
Owner Jackie Faragher says shipping company Mezeron has imported her birds without a problem for many years.
But after government discovered the company didn't hold the relevant licence imports it's had to stop.
She told Manx Radio the rising cost of new birds, and feed, have been a concern but, ultimately, it's red tape that's forced her to call it a day:
