Treasury Minister's response to MLC's negative swipe
Action is being taken to try and deal with the problems facing the Island - and further afield.
Treasury Minister and Ayre and Michael MHK Alfred Cannan was speaking following a much publicised social media rant against the Island by MLC Juan Turner.
Mr Turner alleged the government was 'power corrupt' and overrun with 'awkward' bureaucracy - and made the more sweeping comment that he 'would not recommend the Island' to anyone.
Mr Cannan says he has no idea what Mr Turner's motivation was for making the comments - but whilst he was shouting from the sidelines, others were actually trying to do something to address the situation.
