Mental health charity hosting workshop on dealing with anxious children
Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and this coming weekend Isle Listen will be hosting a workshop for parents, carers and teachers on how to deal with anxious children and young people.
The charity which provides listening services and psychological support has seen an increase in the number of children and teenagers attending for help.
Dr Brian Murray told Manx Radio they've introduced interventions to help with the demand:
The two-hour workshop will be held on Saturday (20 May) morning at 10am, at Ballakermeen High School. Places on the workshop have to be reserved.
