Year-long project to highlight importance of heritage
A year-long project to highlight the importance of the Island's built heritage was officially launched last night.
"Isle of Architecture" is a joint initiative between Culture Vannin, Manx National Heritage and the IOM Society of Architects.
Trustee of Manx National Heritage and Culture Vannin Board member Dr Catriona Mackie says it's not just about iconic buildings but also everyday dwellings from the Island's past - and their place in its future.
A website for the project has gone live this morning (Fri) isleofarchitecture.com, search for Isle of Architecture on Facebook or on Twitter @isleofarc.
