Police officers in the Manx constabulary have been honoured for their hard work and heroism over the past year.
At the Villa Marina today, dozens of officers were recognised for both long service and outstanding acts of courage.
Among those honoured were ten police officers who between them had saved five lives in 2012 – two of them young children.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts says the annual ceremony is a reason to be proud of his officers:
Majority of whistleblowing cases against DOI relate to health and safety concerns
Disruption for motorists in Kewaigue area from Monday
Man who sexually assaulted sleeping woman jailed
2025 a 'record year' for SPC
