The Department of Infrastructure says the vast majority of its whistleblowing cases are related to health and safety concerns.
It currently has three claims being investigated, with a total of nine since the start of the 2024/25 financial year.
The department's deputy chief officer and whistleblowing designated officer have been giving evidence to a Tynwald committee assessing the efficacy of the Island's whistleblowing laws.
