The Isle of Man Green Party is calling for 'permitted development orders' from the government.
It follows government's announcement of plans to decarbonise electricity generation by 2026 - which will see on-shore wind turbines and solar panels implemented.
The party highlighted a system in the UK whereby planning permission is granted for certain types of developments.
