UK government is currently considering making a move
Students on the Isle of Man say they would be against a social media ban for under-16s.
It comes after the UK government has said it is considering making the move, following the decision by Australia last month.
Speaking on Mannin Line yesterday (20 January), pupils at King Williams College gave their thoughts on the issue:
Recently, the police reported a rise in the number of students, in and out of school, creating images through Artificial Intelligence with the aim of bullying and ridiculing their peers.
Last week, Elon Musk had announced Grok, an AI chatbot on X had been restricted of generating sexualised images in the UK.
