Perseid shower peaks on Sunday
One of the best meteor showers of the year takes place this weekend.
Whilst meteors can be seen on any night, at certain times of the year their numbers drastically increase.
Howard Parkin from AstroManx says, weather allowing, they can be a great sight:
The shower peaks on tonight, 12 August, but will be visible for a day or two either side.
On a good year they can be as frequent as one a minute.
