Van Mossel has purchased six franchises
All Jacksons employees will be retained at the company as it changes hands.
That's according to the CEO after it was announced the automotive group has been bought out by a Dutch company.
Van Mossel purchased six franchises, two from Jersey and Guernsey respectively and one each from the Isle of Man and Isle of Wight.
The dealership has 500 employees and represents 29 brands with a volume of approximately 6,000 cars per year.
Paul Collier said 'a significant period' of negotiation has taken place and he is confident the investment and expertise will further enhance performance and service offerings.
He added with the change they will be able to offer customers more services under one roof in the future.
Over the years, Jacksons has grown into the largest multi-brand dealer group on the Island.
