January 18 was the coldest since 2010

The average temperature for the month was 6.4 °C

January saw the coldest night since winter 2010, with temperatures on 18 January dropping to minus four. 

Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say temperatures last month 'varied significantly' with the average temperature for the month sitting at 6.4 °C. 

And the average wind speed was 15 knots, lower than average, despite having three named storms and six days with gales.

The strongest gusts were during Storm Isha on 21 January with a peak of 61 knots. 

Total rainfall was 93.4 mm - which forecasters say is a little above average with 29 January being the wettest day having collected 16.2 mm.
