Friends mourn loss to Island's live music scene
The Isle of Man's live music scene has lost one of its most dedicated champions, with the passing of Jonathon Gollow.
That view from friend and fellow music promoter Lenny Conroy, after the sudden death of the man known affectionately as Jonno.
While Lenny made a name bringing well-known chart acts to the Island, Jonno forged a following among niche music lovers, arranging specialist concerts and and small-scale festivals.
Lenny recalls Jonno's thrill at getting involved in the Big Wheel Blues Festival shortly after arriving on the Island:
