Owner thinks govt could have done more
A major Island food supplier thinks government could've done more to help with the damage caused by Storm Desmond last week.
Peter Caine is the owner of KC Foods, whose warehouses were flooded on Thursday.
Several skips have been filled with brand new stock, which has had to be binned after it was submerged in four feet of water.
Damage was also caused to the electricity supply, the phone system is down, and its forklifts are damaged, causing further disruption to business.
Mr Caine says he expected a better response from government in the wake of the storm:
