Manxman wins in major cycling tour
Onchan's Peter Kennaugh has won a gruelling stage of the Criterium du Dauphine, winning on the legendary Alp d'Huez.
It was stage seven of the Criterium.
Kennaugh, who rides for Team Sky, finished 13 seconds ahead of Manx resident Ben Swift.
Sky team leader, Chris Froome remains second overall, behind Richie Porte.
Kennaugh was quoted as saying winning on Alp d'Huez was better than being an Olympic champion.
