Prospect to discuss proposals
A public open meeting to discuss the future of public sector pensions in the Island is being held in Douglas on Monday evening.
It's promising an honest assessment of what is widely seen as the biggest current domestic challenge for the Manx government.
The meeting's been called by the Public Sector Pensions Authority, which says it will outline reform options, to make the scheme viable.
Authority vice chair John Shimmin says it will be an opportunity for the public to give their views.
Prospect, which represents around 200 government staff, is urging members to challenge misconceptions about pension entitlement.
