Local climbers sought for charity fundraiser
People who want to climb Africa's highest peak – and help a local charity – are being sought.
The Children's Centre has launched its 2023 Kilimanjaro Challenge with the hope of raising £25,000 to help fund its services for children and families on the Isle of Man.
It will take place between the 7 and 18 of November next year.
Jane Howland is responsible for fundraising at the Children's Centre - she says summiting would be a wonderful personal achievement and could also lead to lifelong friendships.
Anyone interested in signing up should contact Jane by telephoning 8000000 or by emailing janehowland@thechildrenscentre.org.im.
