What does the future hold for Broogh Wyllin?
The future of some properties in Kirk Michael has been raised during a discussion about coastal erosion in the Isle of Man.
Charles Guard pointed out that the housing on the Broogh Wyllin estate was referred to locally as 'last time buyers' homes.
He made the comments while appearing on the Mannin Line, saying that a government report from around 2001/2002 stated the land right up to the main road through the village will have gone in around 130 years' time:
New Year Honours for six Isle of Man residents
Island enjoyed 'reasonable' summer despite no record-breaking temperatures
Head of Ambulance Service 'really privileged' to receive New Year Honour
Chief Fire Officer 'overwhelmed' after receiving New Year Honour
