Adventurous cat now in the care of ManxSPCA
A kitten has been successfully rescued after being first spotted stuck in Shaw's Brow car park overnight.
The cat was spotted 'stuck in a tunnel behind a wall and some metal bars' last night and this morning was reported to Douglas City Council.
Senior City Warden Mandy Edwards found the cat - now temporarily named 'Doolish' - but before she could get near, he ran away.
He crossed Barrack Street eventually running over Lord Street, narrowly dodging traffic.
Mandy and a member of the public managed to catch him outside Hanover House and he is now in the care of the ManxSPCA.
