No surprise at review's findings
A partner at KPMG in the Isle of Man says more does need to be done to get women onto the boards of big companies.
Micky Swindale has responded to excuses collected from firms as part of the British government’s review of gender representation in the FTSE 350.
These included: not needing another woman because there was already one on the board; claims they wouldn't fit comfortably in that environment; and they didn't have the experience to handle extremely complex matters.
Mrs Swindale says she's not surprised by the review's findings:
