James Franklin explains today's historical significance
Today marks an important point in the Manx cultural calendar - Laa Boaldyn - which follows Oie Voaldyn yesterday.
It's written about in Dr John Clague's book 'Manx Reminiscences', published in 1911, as voiced by Culture Vannin's James Franklin:
